September 11-15

Wear red, white, and blue for patriot day in honor of 9/11/01 tomorrow!
Thank you for the classroom donations! We have a long year, and your kindness is appreciated. Currently, we could use some extra snacks! As a reminder, here is the Safe Snacks List. Apples, bananas, and cuties would be great too! Several kids were without water bottles last week. They can leave it here each day and bring it home on Friday if they need to.
NWEA testing will begin on Tuesday, September 12th. Students will take the NWEA in reading this week and math next week. We will begin testing each day at 9:00. We hope all testing is completed by the end of next week. Please consider not scheduling appointments in the morning during testing.
If anyone is available to volunteer in or out of the classroom, I would love the extra help. Some jobs could be copying, cutting copies to fit students' notebooks, putting science activities together, organizing our classroom library, etc. Most of the science activities can be sent home to assemble if you prefer. Please sign up here if you can!
Birthdays - Students bringing in treats for birthdays must stick to the safe snacks list. Homemade treats are not allowed. Store-bought items must be sent to me ahead of time. Please include a picture of the front of the package/container and the label on the back. Thanks!
If you are interested in volunteering to organize classroom parties fill out the Google Forms below. Thank you for your consideration!
